THE JUNIOR PROGRAMME

A Vehicle for Growth and Achievement

Very important to the LockMc Tennis Menu, is the Junior’s Programme.

Not only does tennis serve up benefits as a sporting activity for the Juniors, it helps to develop the mind, provides a mental challenge, discipline, endurance, balance, power and most of all – it is where FUN and FITNESS meets for Ages 5 – 18years.

The Junior Programme has been the pathway to higher learning for many. Achievements in tennis through this programme has contributed to the procurement of  scholarships to local and overseas colleges.  Numerous participants have also gone on to play in the Davis Cup.

The Annual Junior Tennis Camp has, for over 30 years honed the skills of some of our top local players who have gone on to represent Jamaica at the International Level. It has afforded children a great social outlet in an ultimate “contact sport”. There is no easier way to get to know someone. It is not only an out of the house activity for kids but it also develops the mind and body.
